Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end instructional design and development of courses, learning programs, and digital learning experiences.
  • Develop learning strategies, storyboards, instructional frameworks, and assessment approaches aligned with defined learning outcomes.
  • Manage and mentor instructional designers, content developers, and learning specialists.
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts, faculty, business teams, and technology teams to translate complex concepts into engaging learning experiences.
  • Ensure effective use of instructional design models, adult-learning principles, multimedia, and learner-centered methodologies.
  • Oversee the development of e-learning, blended learning, microlearning, simulations, videos, assessments, and other digital learning assets.
  • Use learning analytics, learner feedback, and assessment data to continuously improve course effectiveness.
  • Explore and integrate AI tools and emerging learning technologies into instructional design workflows.
  • Establish quality standards, templates, guidelines, and review processes for learning content.
  • Manage multiple instructional design projects, timelines, priorities, and stakeholder expectations.

Desired Skills

  • Strong knowledge of instructional design theories, models, and adult-learning principles.
  • Proven experience in designing digital, blended, and instructor-led learning programs.
  • Excellent skills in storyboarding, curriculum design, assessment design, and learning-content development.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise, Captivate, or equivalent.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and develop instructional design teams.
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of learning analytics and evaluation methodologies.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered learning and content-development tools is highly desirable.
  • Creative, learner-centric mindset with strong attention to detail.

Additional Information

Experience: 6–10 years in instructional design, learning & development, educational technology, or a related field. Education: Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Psychology, Learning Sciences, Management, or a related discipline preferred.
